About Me

Background

My name is Gustavo, and I am a software engineer and solutions architect from Argentina with over 10 years of experience in the IT industry. I started my career in 2014 building enterprise applications and web services with .NET, and later evolved into full-stack development and end-to-end system design, aligning technical decisions with business goals.

Architecture & Technical Expertise

I work across the full lifecycle of software systems, designing frontend and mobile architectures with React and React Native, and backend systems with Node.js, Python, Go, and .NET.

My focus is on architectural trade-offs such as monoliths versus microservices, synchronous versus asynchronous communication, and building scalable, maintainable APIs and services.

I have experience designing data models using relational databases like PostgreSQL and MySQL, as well as non-relational solutions such as MongoDB and Redis.

Cloud Architecture

I design and review cloud architectures with a focus on scalability, security, reliability, and cost efficiency. My experience includes infrastructure design, CI/CD pipelines, cloud-native patterns, and workload placement across AWS, GCP, and Azure.

Additional Experience

In addition to hands-on engineering, I have mentored junior developers and conducted over 500 technical interviews. I have worked across industries including e-commerce, fintech, healthcare, real estate, and social platforms.
