About Me

Background

My name is Gustavo, and I'm a full-stack software developer from Argentina, currently based in Portugal. I have over 10 years of experience in the IT industry. I began my career in 2014 working with the .NET framework to build enterprise applications and web services. Over time, I transitioned into modern full-stack development, adopting technologies like React for frontend development and Node.js for backend services.

Technical Stack

I specialize in building modern web and mobile applications using React.js and React Native, delivering responsive, scalable, and cross-platform user experiences. On the backend, I use Node.js and Express to create robust APIs and server-side applications.

I also work extensively with Python, focusing on backend services, data processing, and automation tasks. In addition, I have also started using Go for developing lightweight microservices and exploring its concurrency model, primarily in smaller backend components or internal tooling.

For data storage, I’ve worked with relational databases like MySQL and PostgreSQL, as well as non-relational databases including MongoDB and Redis.

Cloud Architecture

I design and deploy cloud-based solutions using AWS, and have experience working with GCP and Azure as well. My focus includes infrastructure planning, deployment pipelines, and scalability best practices.
